VacationLand Federal Credit Union is traditionally closed on Thanksgiving Day. But as mentioned, giving thanks isn’t just for Thanksgiving Day. We’re thankful to have members like you, every day throughout each year. We’re grateful to the community, our board of directors, and our fantastic professional staff. You all are the reasons we continue to provide award-winning services and products. Without your commitment, continued support, and high standards for expectations, we would not have been voted our area’s best credit union yet again this year!
International Credit Union Appreciation Day is celebrated the third Thursday of every October; however, it is our belief that every day should be a customer appreciation day at VacationLand. Our members are at the “heart” of everything we do, and we count our blessings. It is our honor and pleasure to serve you and to be considered your financial partner for life. This past September, VLFCU celebrated our 65th anniversary. Thanks for being such loyal members and for supporting our business for all these years.
Being thankful and philanthropic go hand-in-hand. At VacationLand, we feel we have received a great deal more than we have given back. But each year we try to even the score by repaying our community. Annually, we participate in Coats for Caring; our Gifts for Kids Toy Drive; Stuff the Bus Erie County; and the Annual Easter Egg Hunt. We also support the Humane Society, Victory Kitchen, Serving Our Seniors, Salvation Army, and many other local non-profits and community-focused projects. Our annual scholarship programs recognize and honor student members based upon leadership and citizenship; we strive to remain grateful and benevolent throughout the entire year.
